You have been such a guide and an inspiration to me, forging a leadership path that is filled with kindness, warmth, empathy, and brilliance. Having watched you lead the Personnel Committee for the past 3 years, I've learned so much from you about how to show up with integrity, humor, strategy, and love. Interacting with you always leaves me feeling like a ray of sunshine has just shone down on my spirit, and you and that energy will be SO missed! Thank you again for all that you've taught me; I can only hope that my leadership honors the incredible legacy you've left!

You've been a voice of comfort, care and support for me and the leadership of MassLib. It's the tone and spirit with which you engage people that really makes all the difference. You bring light to spaces where it's most needed.

Although I only got to work with you for a short while it was clear to me that you are very talented in:
1) forging your own path
2) inspiring people around you
3) creating a process that honors all voices
4) imaging and holding a remarkable vision
5) being joyful and fun

For me, it was important to experience all of those qualities in one woman. It showed me what was possible. And if it is true, that believing is the first step in creating. Then my life has changed because of knowing you. (I had heard that we create our own reality but I had never experienced it in a real person in a positive way.)

I am the Co-ED for SMASH, a grassroots housing justice org in Miami, and I am so honored to count Diana Marie Lee as one of SMASH's co-founders. Working with Diana always feels to me like working with a goddess that descended from a wisdom, compassion and sound-judgment shaped cloud. Diana is the kind of person you want to be around in the most important and transformative moments of your life, and beyond that, I have always felt an organic desire to make her proud. Diana is always with me even when she is not physically present, always the voice of reason and healing. Diana has a vision for the future that just feels so right, and I have never met anyone that does not want to be a part of it in some way. Thank you Diana!

Working with Diana has been a breath of fresh air – the type of fresh air that breathes a newness into your soul. I've had the pleasure to work with her on several projects related to our work in the dismantle Collective. Diana emphasizes liberation, health, and true joy that frees you from unhealthy thoughts and habits. I personally struggled with a lot of generational trauma, insecurities, and baggage, and working with Diana has taught me to be "unapologetically me" which has transformed the way I do work, business, and even the way I interact with my family. More importantly, Diana will remind you to prioritize yourself and your well-being in a way that breaks down all barriers of the past. I would not be who I am and where I am without Diana's work.

When I met you in person for the first time, you treated me as your comrade and thought partner, even though I felt I was in the very early stages of working my way up as a professional of color in the B Corp space. You trusted me before I trusted myself. You asked me (and continue to ask me) to use my voice and step into my power. The communities you created gave me the first opportunity to work in affinity spaces that gave me a chance to learn how to center myself and BIPOC and queer communities, which profoundly influence the way I walk through the world. Your presence and commitment to liberation for yourself and others have taught me that love, joy, pleasure, care, and liberation are my rights, not something I need to earn.

Working with Diana Marie was such a pleasure. To find someone with so much insight and knowledge about community work and the dynamics that surround it made navigating challenging situations so much easier. Her approach has a natural teaching format that leaves you with a set of skills that you are able to apply to other areas of your life and work.

Diana Marie supported me in relocating my humanity and dignity during a season where I was gaslighted into diminishing myself—a Black, queer, non-binary masculine person of faith. I was neck-deep in a futile attempt to be seen, experienced, and to express myself as a worthy co-laborer for healing and liberation, especially among QTBIPOC movement leaders.

Diana Marie helped me to see myself more clearly, including yet beyond my labor, to know, trust, and believe that I, too, am worthy of such co-laboring, acts of radical Love that I offer, and reclaiming my time. This spaciousness that Diana Marie facilitated afforded me to dream again, to make bold steps in the direction of my high dreams; to show up as powerful, responsive, and centered in my accountability to Self and others. Because of our work together, I am not bitter but better, and for this, I am so deeply grateful!

Diana Marie was the central person behind a community consultant training institute that i enrolled in. the program was highly regarded nationally and i could easily see why. Diana Marie's professional integrity, deep commitment to social justice, peace and well-being, and versatile skillsets consolidated the training institute into a powerhouse of dynamic, engaged learning that really delivered as well as cultivated & deepened relationships and community of practitioners. She set the tone for the institute as a truly respectful, fun, and safe learning space for all participants and unlocked the power and brilliance of all the wisdom various trainers had to offer in a seamless way. Having seen her gifts in action and having benefited from it directly, I feel very fortunate and now that I am in a leadership position for my own agency, I would love the opportunity to partner with someone like her so our program can thrive and develop the kind of reputation that that institute did.
